Informational
Text
1.
Using a
correct letter format, write a letter to a friend summarizing what
you have learned about spies in the American Revolution. Refer to the text, Spying in the American Revolution, for
help, if needed.
2.
Next, develop a code for writing secret messages on the back of your letter
(back of your notebook paper).
3.
Use your code
to include a secret message at the
bottom of your letter, a postscript (P.S.).
4.
Later, you
will give your letter to a classmate (including the key for your code) and let your
classmate see if he or she can decode your secret postscript message.
