"Patriot Day" at CSMS

Patriot Day is an annual observance on September 11th to remember those who were injured or died during the terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001. Many Americans refer to "Patriot Day" as 9/11 or September 11

All CSMS students and faculty are challenged to wear their favorite red, white and blue attire to school on Tuesday, September 11th, as a way of saying “Thank you” to the men and women who help keep our country safe.

Did you know?
On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 people were killed
in the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center in NYC, at the Pentagon building in Washington, DC, and in a plane crash near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.  Four hunderd (400) were police officers and firefighters.  The attack on the World Trade Center on September 11th resulted in the largest loss of life by a foreign attack on American soil.*
