sent well-wishes and encouraging thoughts 
to the people of Paris. 

Students used a collaborative Google Doc that will be shared with the French Embassy. It has been shared all over the world via social media. We left messages of encouragement and condolences for those affected by the events this past weekend in Paris.  #WeSupportParis

Performance Task

This Friday, November 6th,

5th Grade Social Studies

will be having an Early Civilization Parade!

ASSIGNED TASK:

• Students are to come in costume and/or with props representing one of the four civilizations we have been studying in class. (synthesis)

• Students must be prepared to explain and justify in what way they are representing the civilization they selected. (analysis)
